The 215-page softcover German-language book “Die Deutschen Motoren für Modelle” (The German Model Engines) by Matthäus Weidner was published on January 1st, 1994 by the Deutsches Museum. In essence, it constitutes an illustrated encyclopedia of the many and varied model engines produced in Germany from the earliest pioneering era up to the book's date of publication.
The book is long out of print, but copies still surface from time to time on various selling venues. Anyone interested in German model engines is seriously advised to obtain a copy - there's no other comparable reference.
