One of the great benefits of modern computer technology is the ability to scan and translate books and documents from a wide variety of languages into any language that you choose. This is a good example. It's a work entitled (in English) "Model Engines" which was published in Moscow in 1973. It contains a great deal of information about then-current model engines and the technical principles applied to their design and construction. The plentifully-illustrated text was compiled by a consortium of writers respectively named V. P. Zuev, M. I. Kamichev, M. B. Kachurin and Y. A. Golubev, each of whom focused their respective contributions on specific aspects of the overall topic. Well worth a look!
Modellers in Russia appear to have been unusually favoured by the availability of very informative books on the subject of model engines. This is merely one of some 7 such books of which I'm currently aware, and I'm sure that there must be others. There's a lot to be learned from these publications now that the language barrier is lifted!
